Subject: spline modeling

I downloaded the carrara demo i think its the new demo i dont know. i can do everything but spline modeling i want to make a head but it turns in to a vase or a lamp and when im making somehting different it turns into a head by fluke. i want to know what what im doing can anyone help me with spline modeling properly and and knowing what to do. and second question can u save your work in the demo because u cant click the save button??. thnx fallasion

The demo does not allow saving. Using the spline modeler to model a head? I would recommend using the vertex modeler for modeling a head, and the spline modeler for items like a vase or lamp as you said. The spline modeler isn't quite designed for the modeling of heads, but the vertex modeler is more then capable. If you have any specific questions please ask away, and welcome to Carrara. Brian

i have the same prob thnx. but is there a vertex modeler in the demo version? i cant find it

I'm not sure but I believe there is for the Carrara (not basic) app. In assemble window/menu/insert/vertex object . . . and you are on your way
