Ok, so I've been fooling around with the physics engine and thanks to this forum I have learned some great tips. But just this morning I tried a new render and the typical yellow box with the #1, that shows the render area, has disapppeared. It is still rendering, but no more yellow box. I remember when I got the C3 Beta disc after ordering the upgrade that this was present in the render room. Is this normal? What gives? When it was in the full version of C3 I just thought it was suppose to be there. Thanks

I believe the #1 shows up if you have the Enable Multithreading option turned on. If you have a dual-processor box, you'd see a #2 also. When you turn that off Carrara doesn't bother telling you what thread is rendering what part so you no longer see the #1.
