cant you use the morph thing in C? i was reading about it in the manual..and im still unclear on how it works... i agree about the skinning stuff..oy..ive made a character i want to skin and animate..i also wanted to give him a movable mouth, but m completely perplexed by how to do it..selecting verticies or anythign is so confusing to me theres just too much information for me to be able to see what im selecting...then how im supposed to animate a mouth..ive pretty much decided to do the mouth in postproduction... i like yours tho...its really well done..
Thanks for your comments. Good luck with your model. I enjoy making models. I don't do much with them after that, but I had fun while I did it. It's like a puzzle, putting it together, seeing better ways to do it all the time. Each model I make, I leave it knowing how to do it better next time. This one is a simple shape design. I just made a bunch of shapes and slapped them together. It has bones, but the first one had joints. I miss the joints... I really miss the joints. I'll look up the bit on morph targets. R.

I just was playing with a fav. old RayDream model. This character was for a story I never got around to writing down, he even comes with a horse. He's equiped with bones, but I've been having trouble editing the bone effect zones, it just takes for-ev-er. I don't look forward to the fingers... think I'll use two hands, one open, one closed, or try and make the finers all open together... here is where a morph target would come in handy : ).I plan on adding more armor, this is Momotaro's day off.
