Poser Pulse - Poser 13 Release

Fantastic! It was the very first 3d program I ever used and is still like my very first love. Xmas is here already!
Does it still have the always-connected requirement? Not interested, if it does. First time activation, sure -- constant need to check in, not a chance.
What about the clothing room and the dynamic cloths ?
If only Daz Studio new content could be installed and used in this new Poser 13. I'm just coming back from a long absence (10-11 years) where I only used Poser. Now I have to learn Poser again and Daz Studio. I'm only a hobbyist not a professional, so I hate that I have to use both to get the best use of all the content out there....
I love Poser and use it in my Soulpaintings for Years. Since I own a Mac Studio now I am also better equipped for Animations. Hope the new Talk Designer in Poser 13 also goes with Victoria Characters.
For many (MANY) years I've begged Poser to improve its Hair Room so the average user can make believable on their own. The Hair Room was incredible hard and produced shiny wire like hair. Daz studio seems to have Poser beat hands down with their hair/fur abilities. Who wants to work on their characters only to have bad looking hair or fur ruin the look ? I've been so disillusioned with Poser that I've dropped out of the Poser scene for a few years now. With every new Poser release I've looked over, their new features seem to have been improved everything constantly, everything except the Hair Room. I can't understand why Daz can blow Poser out of the water on this point and Poser doesn't seem to care, this goes on year after year. I would gladly start using Poser again if they would make it able for the average user to make their own that looks and acts like real hair. Maybe it's been done and I missed it, could be, I've asked this for years and never got an answer back. So, is there an answer to this ?
DAZ are very protective of their product and invest a LOT of money on it. Poser due to the way it has been built cannot offer compatibility with DAZ products, as this would require a software rebuild from the ground up. Even if this was possible, DAZ is so aggressive and protective of their products that would never ever allow it. As it stands indeed DAZ studio beats Poser on all accounts by far. The content is far better, a lot more flexibility and the base software offers modability for the development of new tools. Poser is built on an ancient code and is kept improved upon that. That leaves users with two choices: We either stick to Poser, or try and learn DAZ studio well. Now in my case I've been a Poser user since 2003-4. I've done Terrabytes of artwork with it. With the arrival of the DAZ genesis models I should have migrated to DAZ but I didn't unfortunately and now I'm stuck using still Victoria 4 and drooling over whenever I see a new DAZ studio product. It took me about 20 years to reach the level I am right now and I'm not an expert by any chance, but I fear to invest the same amount of time on DAZ Studio.
No Mac version, no buy.
I was a Poser user starting from Poser 3 and continuing through Poser 11, but I finally switched to Daz Studio because of the high quality of the female characters that were being offered, beginning with Genesis 3. I must confess that I still prefer Poser's interface to Daz Studio's but there has not been a good quality female character for Poser since V4 and there has been little vendor support for the newer Poser characters. My dream is that somehow a version of Poser that could natively use Genesis 3, 8, and 9 figures could be developed. I would buy that in a heartbeat, because I still hate working with Daz Studio, but I love the Daz characters. But because this is unlikely to ever be possible, Poser 11 will remain my last version; I did not upgrade to 12 and have no intention of upgrading to 13.
