The Book of Inspiration I sit here at my table, Thinking of something to write. "What was my brother pondering?" When he killed himself last night! He left two beautiful boys, And a loving, intelligent wife! 'Was his job that stressful?" Did I miss the signs of strife? Tears roll down my face, And shower, like April rains I miss my brother, help me God! I think I'm going insane. I looked up towards the Bible, Standing out, amongst all the rest. And I looked for some kind of answer, That put me to this test! Just before I put it up, I noticed an inscription on the back. My Brother wrote it, “To my Big Brother, Welcome Back!” "Never give up hope! I will always be there for you. Just something to remember, Your Brother loves you too!” The letter helped a lot that day, Especially the "Good Book", too, And those words of Inspiration I read, Keep the memories burning bright, all through!
