Harpy Attack

She feels that something evil is following her and goes into an abandoned church for safety, not a good idea. Once inside she hears a flapping of wings and a blood curling screech and turns to see the harpy descending towards her..

Inspired by the Harpy character, a mythical beast, part bird and part woman. (When I was a kid I was terrified by the flying monkeys in the Wizard of Oz.) The scary corridor by Applejack made a suitable setting so here it is. Rendered in PoserPro 2014. After I made the scene inventory it took about 2 hours to set up the scene, adjust the lighting and pick a camera angle. Other than adjusting the brightness in Photoshop this is how the render came out.
