A Friday the 13th in a fair, beautiful, and once bountiful country. He was a rare young man who gave of himself to all those who loved him. He grew up being torn between two parents, and two places, yet he never once fought to be at one or the others. He was too good hearted to break either part of both his family's hearts. His life was much like any other average life, he grew, went to school, and was packed back and forth between two places. One side used him quite frequently as a weapon against the otherand was not very subtle about the fact they were doing so. He vowed as an 18 year old to never do that to any child he might have. He finished school, and went on about a very average life. He joined the military, got married, had a child, came out of the military with out serving in active duty, he got a job, and worked to support his family until that Friday the 13th, a warm, sunny, beautiful day, blacked by betrayal and bringing horror to many on a very ordinary day. At only 21 years old he suddenly was dead, lying lifeless in a coffin he did not even get to stay inside off. October, this very month, he would have turned 22 years old. The truth of his death may never be known, but the circumstantial evidence is compelling and does not jive with the "first" official version. After his death the widow even paints one of the golden boy's best friends as her boy friend, by saying they were in a relationship, one week to the day of her almost ex- husband's memorial. There was no truth to that, like most of the tales that have left her lips. The unfaithful wife insisted the golden boy be cremated as soon as possible. This widow got almost to the point of hysteria at each mention of the word burial and had an excuse against each reason his father's family had to bury him. The golden young man had been separated from the unfaithful wife for several months before his death, and had been ready to move on to a new phase of his life. He was sad but relieved at the same time. Did a rage over take the estranged wife with this news, or maybe her father became enraged at the news, he only lived a few blocks away? Could it have been both of them together? Maybe it was only the father of the unfaithful wife? His first wife, and also the mother of the unfaithful wife, died under unusual circumstances many a moon ago. She was founding hung to death with markings on her, not in line with self hanging. Her death was ruled a suicide even though the evidence did not support the cause of death. She was also cremated and laid to rest in an un-marked grave. Was it really the golden boy himself, did he really take his own life? Did he really shoot himself twice with each shot twenty some minutes apart as the psychical evidence of the autopsy proves? Once in the chest with the bullet ricocheting off a rib, missing his heart. Did he then log in at youtube, rearrange his place list to songs about taking your own life, then post the entire play list to his facebook account. Did he then procede to write a strangely worded suicide note, with his safe word from his boyhood babysitter tucked neatly into a sentence, with out getting blood any where but where he was found? Why would a young man who insisted he should tell the estranged wife in person it was over for good, break up with his new girl of two months with a text message shortly before he was found dead? Then after doing all the above, not getting blood every where the left handed young man shoots himself in the back of the head from a perfect "right" angle, literally and figuratively, taking out his brain stem and spinal cord causing instant death? If so how did he managed to wrap himself in a blanket after taking what his grandfather, a retired, highly trained military sniper calls the perfect kill shot? Why would this young man once part of the military shoot himself once in such a place as the chest in first place and at such an angle? His training would have included instructions on true kill shots, he would not have needed two shots to ghost himself on to the next life. Why did the local police botch the investigation so badly by handling evidence, moving things at the crime scene, and not calling a crime lab to process the scene, instead dong it themselves. Another damning fact, the widow is in a new relationship before the golden young man has even been dead for three months? Yet she still goes to his facebook page professing her love and devotion to him! Why was an empty bottle of booze found beside him like he had been drinking, why did he reek of booze, yet his system was free of alcohol and drugs, confirmed by the toxicology report? Why did the corner's final cause of death completely contradict the findings of the autopsy? What really did happen that fateful Friday the 13th? Will anyone ever know the truth, will justice be served? From a suicide and closed case to an open murder investigation lacking a body, to a case gone cold. Twists and turns in the path, and so many people needing the truth to rid them from the horror brought to all their lives one sunshine filled cloudless summer day. The sky that day was so vibrant a blue that it matched perfectly the eyes of the golden young man's infant son's eyes. ----------------------------------------------- About This Piece: Each aspect and item in this piece almost reflects back one upon the another, in the highly reflective surfaces given to the walls, floor, and ceiling during the rendering part of my working process. Just as the stories surrounding this death keep bouncing to and fro, and down side up, and right side down just like an M.C. Etcher painting. In this piece I have depicted the unfaithful wife wrapped in the arms of one of the golden boy's best friends. He consoles the unfaithful wife, not knowing that she was such a devious drama queen with an appetite for men. Not expectingan angel face to hide any thing that horrible with in? Not knowing that her father had always loathed the golden young man, and had threatened him before. Not realizing she had been holding his friend's son over his head like a weapon to be used at her disposal. Scattered about are the toys of a son not even a year old, whom will never again feel his father's loving arms around him or hear his voice saying I love you. His father missed his first birthday. He will not see his first step, hear his first word, never see him get on the bus for his first day of school. The little one will grow never really getting a chance to know what a fine man his father truly was, never will he be tossed in the air giggling in his father's arms, or play that first game of catch, nor have his dad see him make that first touch down pass! Never will this young father hold his son and be there as a grandfather for his son's son. Near the toys is a framed photograph of the golden young man lying on the floor discarded like trash, as was his life. There is also the crime scene in the back ground by the couch. Two pools of blood, the gun, evidence markers, chalk body line, and police tap, all around some broken cement. Upon one of the blocks of cement is a crow with a gleaming eye, which represents the duality of love and hate, good and evil, in conjunction with the butterfly flying in the air above. The butterfly and crow also ties in the departed young man's love of a certain band, and their music. A red rose lies near the crow's feet in loving remembrance of a life stolen. In this piece the departed young man can also be seen as a reflection in the mirror. Aa an angel leaning on a support beam looking over the scene of his demise, still wearing his trademark sunglasses, tank, and jeans haunting an earth bound angel. The crime scene was given a warehouse/gangland type of setting to give the piece a feeling of dark secrets, out of control rage, and the terrible danger of the children and adults across the globe who live within gang type environments. The earth bound, very mortal girl angel with dark wings represents a loved one grieving this young man. He haunts her thoughts, her dreams, night into day, seeking justice, needing retribution. His death has cast a shroud over the past few months for her and many others. His death reminds them daily that for one beloved golden boy and his young son there will be "no happily ever after". Only questions remain and any answers might take days, months, years, or never be found at all. ----------------------------------------------- The Moral: This is a story about one of life's true horrors, the murder of a living being. The evil of men on a everyday basis far out weighs the horrors of his imagination, when death visits a door and gives no answer as to why he came to call that day. A reality where even the police might be suspected of duplicity. A world that will never again shine quite so brightly for those that lost one golden young man. He is now dead, and they will never see him on this earth again. Will justice be served? Only time it's self knows that answer. Karma works in her own way, and has a special destiny in store for those that sow evil, they will one day reap the crop they have sown!!! What does this story teach? There are things that do go bump in the still of the night, spirits good and bad walk the earth on All Hallows Eve, but sometimes the very, darkest, most horrible acts of evil do not come in the dark of the night. Nor do they occur always on the one night of the year when the veil is the thinnest. Sometimes evil walks in the sunshine of a perfectly ordinary day filled with light and it steals the very life blood of a living being with out any thought to whom ever else tit might hurt along the way! ----------------------------------------------- The Creation, Programs, and Tools used for this Piece: For this piece I used Daz Studio 3 Advanced, Corel Painter, Photoshop CSS, A Wacom Tablet and two hand painted Watercolor Washes and several wonderful products from the Rendoerosity Store, and a couple other stores for the 3-D work.
