Lac de La Maix This path leads to an very creepy place which has a legend. It refers to the lake Maix a legend shared by many other lakes. A day of pilgrimage, an unknown musician would come to dance to his village with his violin. They danced so well that they did not hear the bell calling the office. No doubt that this stranger was the devil himself. Divine retribution was not long until the earth opened under the dancers who drowned in the lake which once had appeared. The villagers were ordered to dance there until Doomsday ... However, nowadays, it is said that some night you can still hear the violinist ...
