Title : zombies of old time « If Madame wants, I can ask the horse to warm the dish ...†This image was created with Poser Pro 2012. All postwork was done in Photoshop. The image was inspired by the painting from John Henry Fusely, the Nightmare (version of 1790-91). I wanted to make zombies that eat human flesh, but with good manners. From this painting, I looked for an atmosphere that is both disturbing and alluring at the same time, the different draped form a kind of theater for the characters. As my computer is quite old, I had separated my scene in different passes, from the background to the foreground, to recompose them afterwards. I don’t know exactly how long I worked on this image (probably over 10 hours). I spent a lot of time to rebalance the composition, to adjust the lighting, to redo the textures, in a way to honor the original painting while delivering my own interpretation.
