The Church Builder Software used: Carrara, Photoshop Time taken to complete the picture: a little less than 2 weeks, during free time In the province of Quebec, Canada, the church builders sometimes received an unusual help. One morning, as they would begin to carry the rocks to a church with, they would find a black horse, as beautiful as it was strong. The priests would then give the workers these instructions: "Use this horse from morning to night, he's capable. But NEVER remove its bridle." Of course, there was always someone light-headed enough to take its bridle off at some point. The horse would then disappear, and with it would one of the rocks from the church. Our grandparents say that the horse was in fact the devil who had been punished this way for some of his evil tricks. You don't believe me? Ask the people from towns like Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Trois-Pistoles or L'Islet, they'll show you. Perhaps will you even hear the horse's footsteps fading away as the night draws near...
