My entry doesn't really have a title, because anything involving a snake and a toilet is bound to invoke some rather unsavory metaphors. However, this piece is based on an urban legend I am fairly certain was made up by a parisian french of mine. The story went that a mobster was trying to get back at someone who had stolen from him, so he hid a snake in his bathtub and it killed him. With the snake idea in hand, combined with the classic "alligators in the toilet" myth, I was able to create this picture. Everything in this image was modeled and textured by myself. Light setup involves Physical Sun and Sky with a high exposure, two fill lights (green and gold), and a very faint spotlight rim light underneath the snake (red). This picture took a total time of four days to complete, with five hours of work each day.
