Wood Elves (as all elves) are one of the oldest races found in Mernac. Their Linage can be traced back to the first Millennium when Elves first came into being, evolving from Faeries. This occurred when all Male Fae's were cast out by the female of the Fae race at the end of the Faerie Wars. Though Wood Elves reputedly originated on the continent of Ooloo, their numbers spread quickly and Wood Elves can be found in all of the continents of Mernac and most of her Islands... In most cases Wood Elves are devout followers of Siberlee, the Mother of Nature. This is as it should be as Wood Elves feel that Nature Herself will provide all that they need to survive and prosper.
