Though a creature, not truely a race you find that like all the races these magnificent beasts have elements about them that are from both the light and the dark. But everyone knows that if you've seen a dragon, you've seen something very special. Dragons come in all colours, shapes and sizes. Among these creatures are snow dragons, mist dragons, cliff dragons, sand dragons and hob dragons to name a few, but most common are the fire dragons. They live all over Mernac as well, from mountain caves and forest boroughs to desert sands and more. The Elders of these creatures are very wise. Ever watchful and always learning and remembering, they pass down their knowledge to the younglings. For you see, dragons do not have a soul, so their lives, no matter what else they do, are devoted to the search for truth. This, they believe, is the only way to being granted a soul by the Mothers. The wisest and oldest dragon in Mernac is the legendary Kalos. Much sought after for his vast wisdom, no one knows just where to find him, except for the Mother Terees and perhaps the faerie Sara Dragonmist.
