Crystal Fae. Of all the types of Faes found in Mernac, it is written by the Scribes and the Sages that know of such things, that the Crystal Faes are the most beautiful. These lovely creatures are typically only found on the Tian Islands and are generally considered the most friendly of Faes, as the do not avoid other races nearly as much as their sisters in other parts of Mernac. Typically they have rich black hair which contrasts well with their delicate pale complexions. The most wonderful distinction they have that sets them apart from other Faes is their namesake wings, which appear to be made of form of colored or clear crystal. The other distinction which sets Crystal Faeries apart is that on their 16th season of life, they are awarded a magical type of dagger called Shiatus Edge. This petite but deadly dagger will remain strapped to their thigh for the remainder of their lives.
