Wood Elves (as all elves) are one the oldest races found in Mernac.? Their linage can be traced back to the first Millennium when Elves first came into being, evolving from Faeries.? This occurred when all Male Fae?s were cast out by the female of the Fae race at the end of the Faerie Wars. Though Wood Elves reputedly originated on the continent of Ooloo, there numbers spread quickly and Wood Elves can be found in all the continents of Mernac and most of her Islands. Though there numbers are many, it is quite uncommon for other races to see or interact with Wood Elves, as they prefer to live sedentary lives in the deepest of forests of sometimes jungles in the warmer regions of Mernac.
