Throughout history there have been several small groups that were considered the Champions of Mernac, but there is never more than one group at any particular point in time. These groups, or factions may be a better term for them, all have one thing in common; they were gathered by Siberlee, the Mother of Nature to combat Mernac falling into the clutches of Barak, the Father of the Dark. Of the groups, the most notable was the group led by Arumbus Talimar during the Sap Wars in the 3rd millennium.
