From chest or waist down, they resemble a constrictor. May have snake-like characteristics in human part (transparent nictating membranes that cover their eyes under their eyelids or long, snake-like tongues, for example.) May also, very occasionally, be born with rudimentary lower limbs. Skin is often all-over scales, but the scales over the human half are soft and small, so they’re not apparent until you’re very close.
