Entry #31

"The Light Of Inspiration" (A Psalm For The Common Man) By John Allen Small I chose my path without interference: To make myself better, To work for the good of all And the hope that things will get better. So I try to look away From those things Which might lure me from that path. But perfection lies beyond my grasp; My faults run deep To the very core of my being, An enemy I must battle All the days of my life. Alone, I am insignificant... But am I ever truly alone? I feel a presense here beside me. All things change but the Truth, And the Truth lives on forever; One day, I'll be in Heaven... But today, there’s work yet to be done. (Copyright 2004 by JAS)
