Dragons Flight Forces gather and the winds blow. Helmets donned and numbers grow. Take to wing, commanders yell. Message runners ring the bell. The mountain side set to blow, Volcanic lava bout to flow. Air is thick all around. Grumbles of earth a deafening sound Straps are tightened, snug to fit. Dragons roar, begin to lift. Powerful legs and outsretched wings leather and scale deflect the winds sting. Dragon and rider jump to sky. Lifting higher, born to fly. Thousands more follow suit Clouds of dust, clouds of soot. Earthen boundries fall away, Gliding on thermals they drift away. Perfect formations fill the air, creatures below stop and stare. Towards their goal, they continue to cruise. Cloud formations, just passing through. Then entering a wall of mist, ten thousand Dragons strong, Each rider sings to its mount, a Dragon Riders song. Soothing soul and mind, both blinded by watery veil, Through the foggy void of sky they surely must prevail. Rocky razor sharp peaks, threaten bellies under, Grey black storm clouds yell in fury, with a crackling deafening thunder. Darkened moods descending, mother natures fright, Then finally bursting through, a saving pinpoint of light. The cold damp mist burns off, both suns embracing all, another set of moutain peaks, the Dragons hear the call. Spirits brighten, leather tacks tighten, now its a Dragons flight. Every wingbeat gaining speed, though muslces are tired and tight. Air whips past both dragon and rider, adrenalin rushes through. Evil clouds banks fall behind as the sky now shimmers blue. Quickly approahing, moutain peaks rise, to greet the flying beasts, Summits taken by great creatures in flight, they now have reason to feast.
