| If you could depict fear in fractal form, what would it look like?. | |

Images that do not comply with the rules may be rejected on upload, or pulled from the challenge at any time, whether before, during, or after the voting process. |

| :: | Open to all Renderosity members. |
| :: | Images MUST represent the theme. |
| :: | The main focus of the image MUST be a Fractal. |
| :: | Postwork is allowed as long as the Fractal is apparent. |
| :: | One entry per person (additional entries will not be accepted from member clone accounts). |
| :: | Signatures are NOT allowed on submitted images in order to ensure anonymity during the voting process. |
| :: | A thumbnail MUST be included, 100 x 100 pixels maximum. |
| :: | Images MUST be new, not previously posted publicly anywhere, and not until the Challenge voting is over. |
| :: | No nudity, implied sexuality, or violence. All images must adhere to Renderosity's Terms Of Service. |
| :: | Challenge starts September 2nd, 2008. |
| :: | Challenge ends October 10, 2008, at 11:59 PM [Renderosity time]. |
| :: | The winner picks the next month's theme, subject to approval by the challenge managers. |
| Voting rules | |
| :: | Voting will take place in the Challenge page automatically after the Challenge is closed. |
| :: | The voting option is available when viewing the full-size image. |
| :: | Each member gets only ONE vote, so please choose carefully! |
| :: | Votes from clone accounts and
non-active members (ie. family, friends, work
colleagues) are NOT acceptable. Remember this challenge is anonymous, you shouldn't know in advance who's entry you're voting for. |
| :: | Members are NOT allowed to vote for their OWN image. Such action will be grounds for disqualification. |
| Artists grant permission to Renderosity for the use of submitted images for an undetermined period of time. This is strictly for posting the image on the front page and within the contest archives. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder. | |
