Theme - "Storms"
April showers bring more than May flowers, this April they're
bringing forward the Writers Forum Challenge. Write a short story
[or poem] with the theme of Storms in mind. One of last month's
challenge winners, hanvei, had a storm blow up his Modem and it
"sparked" this spring idea.
Your entries do not have to be a real world tale. Fantasy and
science fiction would work just as well as a modem fatality.
Submission Guidelines
Your story/poem must be based on the montly
challenge theme: "Storms." Tell us your story in 1000
words or less. Ignore the 5 line limit on the box
when you upload - that limit is only for "image contests." Double
space between paragraphs. Type directly in the upload box or
copy/paste from Notepad (or similar editing program).
IMPORTANT: Copy/Pasting from complex word processing
programs, such as MS Word, can change certain characters.
