"Landscape contest with PostworkShop"

Create Your Own Beautiful Landscape and You Could Win!

The Rules:

Create an artistic landscape or cityscape image using PostworkShop. Your original image can be either a photo or a 3D render (Vue, Carrara, Bryce, Terragen, etc.). The image may contain human figure(s) but the main focus must be the landscape/cityscape.

PostworkShop can be downloaded from www.postworkshop.net and there is a free Basic Edition that you can use to enter the contest. You can also purchase PostworkShop in Xycod's Store here in the Renderosity MarketPlace!

Manual postwork (painting) is not allowed, only the filters and styles available in PostworkShop can be used. In the description please mention the PostworkShop styles that you used to create your image.

Dates:

The Contest starts on Monday, April 19th.

The deadline for submissions is Monday, May 3rd at 10am Renderosity System Time (CST).

Winners:

Winners will be selected by a jury composed of PostworkShop Team members and Renderosity team members.

You can enter as many images as you want, but you can win only one prize. Renderosity admins and Xycod collaborators can also enter the contest but cannot win.

Prizes:

1st place: PostworkShop Pro Edition + $100 Renderosity gift certificate
2nd place: PostworkShop Pro Edition + $50 Renderosity gift certificate
3rd place: PostworkShop Artist Ed. + $25 Renderosity gift certificate
4th place: PostworkShop Artist Edition
5th place: PostworkShop Artist Edition

Additional Contest Rules:

All members are eligible to enter, however Renderosity admins and Xycod collaborators are not eligible for selection by the panel of judges.
Members can submit as many entries as they like, however they are only eligible to win one prize.
The final landscape image must be created using Xycod's PostworkShop software. Entry must be a landscape or cityscape.
Any photo or 3D render used in this contest must be from your original work - stock photos will not be permitted.
Contest begins Monday, April 19th 2010.
Entries must be submitted and timestamped by 10:00am CST (Renderosity System Time) on Monday, May 3rd to be eligible to win.
All entries will be submitted to a panel of five judges - two Xycod team members and three Renderosity team coordinators - who will then determine the 5 winners.
Winners will be posted on the official contest page.

Entry Specifications:

Image size must be a maximum of 800x800 pixels in JPEG or GIF format. (72 dpi)
100x100 Thumbnail image must be included - in JPEG or GIF format.
Tutorial: How to Make Full Image Thumbnails
Full size image and thumbnail must be included with your entry for it to be accepted.
All images must comply with the Renderosity Terms of Service for thumbnail images.
No nudity is allowed on thumbnail or full size image.
In description you must include a list of filters and styles you used in PostworkShop to create your submitted image. Additional information that you wish to share about the image is welcome. Images submitted without a description will not be accepted.
Images that do not follow the contest rules or Renderosity's Terms of Service will be removed.
Soliciting the panel judges for votes is not acceptible and will result in the immediate removal of your entry.
Upload your entry as soon as possible to prevent system issues that could prevent your entry from being timestamped by deadline.
By uploading your image you are agreeing that this is your original work and that it abides by the contest rules set forth on this page.

Other Information:

All prize winners must supply Renderosity and Xycod with their real name and email address for prize distribution and registration.
By entering this contest, you agree that all submission may be used by Renderosity and Xycod for promotional purposes: online, digital, print, on CD, or in any other medium.
By submitting your entry into this contest you are granting Renderosity the right to retain your entry in it's archive and to display the entry within this community to promote Renderosity or future contests held.
By submitting this form, you agree that you are authorized to grant Renderosity the permission to use of your image in print advertising, promotions or website usage. The Artist will remain the intellectual property holder of their images.
