Interview with MioraaNyte
Renderosity: Tell us about yourself: who is MioraaNyte?
Miorra: My name is actually Miorra, though my last name is not Nyte (I prefer to keep that secret). I am a 50 y.o. woman (presently single again) with a wonderful daughter and beautiful twin granddaughters living in S.C. I am semi-retired work part-time in healthcare at a local nursing home.
I started using DAZ back in 2016 when a friend of mine suggested that perhaps I should give 3d graphics for a hobby. When I first started, I had no desire at that time to become a writer. As a writer (and illustrator) what are your goals?
Miorra: When I started playing SWTOR, it rekindled an old passion and I began to geek-out and delve further into the lore. The more I played, the deeper my love of the story became. After awhile I decided I would try writing a story line revolving around the various characters I played and bring their story lines together to create my own.
My main character is Vefaara (Kallig) Nar, a former slave found to possess outstanding powers in the Force. She was taken to the Sith Academy on Korriban as a young teen to become a disciple of the Dark Side. Her time at the academy was not pleasant and often filled with danger. However, she overcame all obstacles in her path to one day become Darth Nox, Dark Lord of the Sith and one of the twelve members of the Sith Empire’s ruling Dark Council. But there is a twist to her story, she found out the dark side had it limits and began incorporating light side (Jedi) tactics and philosophies into her life. Though still Sith and a devotee to the dark side, she has found the true power of the Force is in balance to become what is usually referred to as a “Gray” Sith.
The main goal of my story line is to entertain… plain and simple.
How has Renderosity made a difference?
Miorra: Renderosity has been a wonderful place to show my work and improve my skills. There are quite a few members that are not bashful with both praise and critique… I welcome both, as they will help me become a better artist.
Do you have any personal favorites among your works?
Miorra: I would have to say I really don’t have a true favorite work, I love them all.
How should a reader get started with reading MioraaNyte?
Miorra: Perhaps they should start with Cipher Nine and Watcher Zed, which you may say, is the introduction of the story line. Prior to that, they will find other renders that may help introduce a few of the assisting characters of the saga.
