Welcome to my homepage.BIOI am an award-winning artist and journalist. I was born and raised in Paris, France and received my formal art education at San Jose State University in Northern California and Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif. In addition to the 3D computer art you see here, I also enjoy creating ceramics and acrylic paintings. I live in Southern California with my husband who is an editor for a major metropolitan newspaper and with my preschool-aged son. My screenname, Salamandre, refers to the coat of arms chosen by Francis I, King of France during the Renaissance. The Salamandre is said to be able to extinguish any fire.
