Description
Leia is a private nurse for an older couple. They live in an old warehouse that has been converted into luxury apartments on all the lower floors. The upper floor is used for storage and Leia has cobbled together a small sitting area to escape to when she has a break. She dreams of one day having a life where she can travel and see the things the couple always talk about. But dreams don’t get the job done. She checks her watch and slowly heads back to the apartment.
I haven’t used Leia in a while so I thought I’d pull her out of storage for this image. She dusted off rather nicely. The Warehouse is by Adam Thwaites is at Most Digital Creations. Some of the props are from the Fantasy Tavern in Poser. All three of the images I posted today were done in Poser before the DARK SIDE took me over. If I ever get more than 15 minutes to myself again, I may do some more. Enjoy!

Another well made social commentary. Her curled up siting pose suggests that feeling of being alone, left out of the fun the others have described, not thinking how it would affect her to hear about it. The barren brick wall and the rough items contrast well with the painting, which shows a well off society's winter fun, traveling somewhere. Keep up the good work! :-)

You definitely caught the mood of repose between activities. You got just the right pose for Leia. And the shadow in the image also suggests repose, retreat, etc. This is really sensitively done. And she looks out, but not quite at us (that suggests private, too). And I love the light on her pants. The rest of the scene definitely suggests an attic or storage space. Love the reds and browns, and the pieces of paintings, etc, and that light in the upper left corner. You really have a knack for visualizing your scenes...it doesn't matter whether you conceive the scene first, and then make an image; or the image first, and then compose your text (or any combination of the two): You make a 'totality' of scene and image, and they work organically. This is perfect.
