Great capture!
wonderful capture Andrea a real beauty this one is
I remember days when we wouldn't see them for months, just shows we are getting warmer.
That is so lovely Andrea
Nice and early and a super shot.
FANTASTIC! What a wonderful pic, and special when one thinks about the time of the year.
A real beauty. You are so lucky. In the last twenty years the population of Monarch butterflies in North America has dropped 90%. I remember them from my childhood but have not seen one in years except for a local preserve. Don't tell our politicians it has anything to do with our impact on the earth though. You'll be called a socialist.
ahhh.. yes, butterflies are awakening !
She is very beautiful.
At current temperatures here (today 18°C) I even saw the first butterflies this year. Hope spring comes soon. A fantastic close up of this beautiful Admiral.
