Description

Hi There =) ! Thank you for all the wonderful comments, favs and likes on my renders =). They are much appreciated ! This was one of Miho's base of operations. She had bought this old abandoned bus station and basically restored it and converted it into a workshop for her vintage cars. Today was Sunday and none of her staffs were around. She had found an old vintage car and was going to go and pick it up tomorrow and hence was getting her big rig ready... As I entered the compound from the back gate, there she was washing and polishing Big Bill. She had cut and colored her hair and was looking so sexy in that cut out shorts and tube top.... She turned and gave me that smile of hers and I was completely lost in the moment....... She laughed and started teasing me.......... About this render: I have been having a chats with some of you regarding Octane, IRAY and Reality... It is really interesting to see what all these render engines are capable off. I am pretty much invested in Octane as I have spent money on it and I do like how it renders. But I was also thinking of experimenting with other render engines as I started to have some issues with Octane. Greywolf44 had a simple advice - if you have invested in something, use that and well it makes sense. And that made me learn something today about Octane that I didn't know yesterday... I was having serious problems with noise / specs in highlight... specially with chrome / very reflective materials in Octane. Did some research on the Otoy site and found some settings that takes care of this that I didn't know about. The render above is one of those that I was having problems with but with the settings changed based on recommendations I found going through Otoy forum, it came out well without those issues. This is the second time I have used custom morph I have created in ZBrush to put the hair under the cap so that I did not need to fiddled with Photoshop later on or render twice once with and once without the hat. Hope you all like it ! Render in Daz Studio using the Octane Plugin. No post work done. My previous render - "Hope" : thumb_9a4bf628fd55013b44da3c5aa9f47be9.j Enjoy =) ! Rajib

Hey, somebody actually took some of my advice! (LOL) That aside, this is really a cool image, Rajib. Love the big rig and the POV and I must say Miho has a beautiful smile! I think I may have to get out one of my big trucks and do some images with them as the main props. . . they are way cool. :-)

Looks awesome rajib! I never got Octane and I have an older Reality but have never used it so I've pretty much gone with Iray but like Greywolf said, if you've put money into something, been using it for a while and are comfortable with it keep using it and learning otherwise your money invested would be wasted, like I did with Reality haha. Cheers on the great renders!

Cool looking scene and great truck, looks to be based on a Peterbilt.

I agree with the advice, use what you have and keep going at it and you'll achieve some great results.
