thanks for all the following on this story, which may never had been.. if it weren't for a few of you kind of inching me on. I do hope you like how it's going so far. it's only about haft done. a lot more to come, and some surprise guess too.. this story is growing a mind of it's own.

I know why the gate's unlocked. The North Koreans hate their regime so much, they want to leave a wide-open escape route for their American friends, who then won't have to go through the same misery and can expose to the rest of the world the terrible reality of the rotten regime!
