Description
One of many historical bridges of the American River Canyon. What make this one special is not it's structural beauty alone, it is also a beautiful land mark that will be lost if the Auburn Dam In Auburn California is ever built.
This entire area would be at the bottom of a lake.
(As a Size reference, the 3 tiny white things on top of the bridge are people)

Such a fantastic capture and what a beautiful scenic scape! I don't think I'll be bungee jumping off it any time soon, but the natural beauty of the revine and the majestic engineering make this quite a captivating place! A most excellent image and damn the dam!
