Description
It has been a long time since I have uploaded an image. I have been suffering from a horrible and depressing Artist Block of sorts which has been getting me down. I have started a hundred scenes (all unfinished) but have not been able to get what I was looking for.
This image has finally emerged over the last few days; out of anguish, if not out of my burning necessity to thank the creators of these beautiful models, and one person in particular, Diane (or chant106) who has bought most of the models you see here, for me.
So thank you Diane for all your support:

A wonderful panorama! I really like the dark sky and the bright birds against the clouds. And the waterfalls emerging from the right hand tower are a lovely touch.
So glad to see you posting! This image is awesome! So finely detailed. I love the contrast of the birds and the sky. Outstanding work on the village and the gentle stream flowing through. A big Welcome Back to you!

I know exactly what you mean about the artist block. I had something like it not long ago myself. Glad to see you pulled yourself through. This is an excellent comeback! I hope to see more soon!
awesome come back though...this is fantastic!!!
Great to see you post again, and with work like this you can afford to take a break now and then. Amazing detailed work. Vote!
Yeah, good to see you back man. I already have wondered in a way what happened. I think this is what we all have from time to time - creative blocks. For me communication helps, to talk to friends, see other artwork and simply be patient. The more you force it the longer it will go. However, when i look at this image i am close to say "good you had this block when you come back with such a masterpiece". A really really excellent one Gareth. Now go back to the unfinished scenes and see wether something comes out of them now. Or simply don't look back and throw them away.
Wow! Outstanding composition. Textures, lighting, atmos, mood are all so perfect. excellent talent!
