Description
For the nitpickers - yes, I know Bast was never depicted wearing the solar disk but I'm claiming artistic license. I just liked the way it looks. After all, I don't think she was depicted with wings either. ;-)

VERY NICELY DONE, LET OTHERS NIT PICK, I LIKE IT "VOTE"
Maybe not, but I love your artistic choices! Excellent work, Hon! hugs Ish
Absolutely great, regardless. I love the lighting. The gold & black work very well off each other, centering the image and the viewer's eyes.
Wonderful!
Superb work and you have the right to make your picture the way you want.. Get's my vote as well.
Incredible, absolutely incredible. I love the way that Bast looks, oh that is way beyond Awesome...here is my vote!
I love your version, this is wonderful.
Well I personally don't know what "Bast" looks like, but I certainly like your version! Your Egyptian images are fantastic. This is no exception! Well done!
This has gotta be one of my favourite images. I love Egyptian themes....and of course the kitty rocks ;O)and the artwork is amazing.
Very nice! Excellent fur effect, intense eyes... wow! Superb!
Beautiful! Those eyes are amazing. As for the wings & whatnot, well Deities can and do look like whatever they want to so don't let that worry you. Good work!
Excellent work! Love that ancient Egyptian culture:] VOTE!
I love the portrayal you did of Bast. Youd did such an outstanding and original job. Even my cat Binx had to come over and take a peek. And Considering he licked the screen I take it he votes for it as well. Keep them coming.(pardon any typo's long day on the ship)
Excellent work!!!
I like the wings--I'm sure Bast wanted them;-)
hey i dont mind the wings or even that disk... i like the whole egyptian theme one way or another... awesome image!
Love it! Great work
Egyptian theme, cat, what's not to like about this picture! Absopositivolutely beautiful!
Actually, Bast is sometimes considered to be Ba-Ast, which means the soul of Ast, or Isis, who is of course often seen with solar disk, horns and wings. Also, I am not so sure that Bast is never seen with the disk - she's just not typically pictured that way. Beautiful image and gorgeous models. Did you model them yourself? (I soooo want a Bast model like that!) Thanks for sharing!
I think it was Horus..I should watch more Stargate SG-1 to be sure..;) great detail, whatever..it's a work of art first..keep it up..
Awesome textures and colors...!!!
I agree with your artistic license! It looks just too good!! Great work!
I love any thing you do with cats! :))
This is simply awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Bastet was the goddess cat protector of the home and Setmet it was when she got angry and she became the warring panther. You have made a very good work, all the historical artistic licenses are allowed that want.
