Description
***** There Is Peace In The Valley... *****
First, let me wish all the American's a Happy 4th of July!
Next, I want to thank all of our servicemen and servicewomen, for making our freedom a possibility and a continued way of life. Our nation is only great, because of you and your efforts! Thank You!!
Now about this picture:
Out of all the paintings I did of this particular picture, I think this one is my favorite. I added my castle in the valley, which in my opinion, really improves this picture. I faded it out so it would look like it is in the distance.
You maybe sick of this picture by now, but I am bound and determined to get it right! :-)
Thank you for looking today,
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

You are right about the castle... A great addition...
I love the Intarsia look of the trees!
just gorgeous Vikki, i could never grow sick of this picture no matter how many versions you make of it. I love the little catle touch, beautiful!!!
Very nice Vikki, I like the 3d effect on the tree. And it does have a sense of peace, and mystery too.
Very well done. Great depth/distance in this composition. Looks perfect to me.
Everything looks right with this picure to me. Except maybe for the name as I see more doomed than peacefull feel here. Anyway it looks great :)
