Description
Another typical house turned shop in St. Mikes.
My point about the wires is: they can go underground, and it doesn't have to be done all at one time. Laurel, MD buried its cables along the main street some years back. They also invested in a few 'period' lamp posts. The change was remarkable. Places figuring on tourist $$$$ may want to think on this point.
Another advantage: storm damage is minimized.
Nuff of that. Got a few more things to see afore we moves on.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

Ah, looks like a great place to shop... Wishes, ummm, is it a pet store... or my own wishful thinking? har... Excellent photo all the same. :]
Yes and for a town that worries so much about 'appearances' you'd think they would worry about that as well. They won't let a McDonalds within -miles- of St. Mikes.. but ugly wires? No problem! You've done some great photography of the town - Nice work and thanks for sharing!
Very nice house! Excellent shot!!!
hadn't thought of that, but it's a good idea of the wires... hope to have such a place such as this someday :]
I agree with the wires... great image!
