Bryce 5, Poser and some Photosop
I have wanted to do this scene for a few years now and after getting the DAZ soldier I had no real excuses. The building detail could be better and might be in the future if I decide to re-do it and there is a good chance that there will be a reprise but only after I have a new machine this thing really taxed out the processor lol.

Interesting concept. I like the look of the buildings too ;)
The idea and composition is really great. A bit more detail on the building ruins would pretty much wrap this up. I also like the alien craft and the clouds.
Thanks all, couldn't agree more RJC Im in the process of reworking the buildings, I think you will be pleased with the results. Im also not 100% sold on the abducted soldiers pose.
Okay, this is an awesome render and I really love the concept. The ship in the sky is fantastic. We've already mentioned the buildings. The soldier being abducted looks off to you and I think I know why. Try putting his shoulders further back and lower. Imagine his hands hold 50lb weights and how it would drag his arms down. Right now, the shoulders look too pushed forward and high. Other than that, this is an awesome alien invasion seen and you can feel the stress of the situation.
