Do you remember the Three Sisters I posted months ago? I couldn't pass them without another shot.
But at home I wondered about the rainbow colors in the center!!!
What the hell is this? My lense was clean, perhaps a reflection of the sun? or I was standing in a rainbow and didn't notice???
Never had such feature in another foto before.
Do you have an idea what it can be?
Thanks a lot for all appreciated comments and I wish you a perfect Friday! ;o)))))

Ciao Rita ! another beautiful landscape of Scotland these 3 sisters. Nice this effect on your lense ! even if you don't know exactly what it is. A rainbow is always a gift of the sky !!!! Have a good week-end. Hugs. Nathalie

A rarely effect, but beautiful!! May be a rainbow together with lensflare?? (I dont like sun shields).
Wonderful mountain shot! Love the rainbow lens flare.
To me it seems the boy who wear the crown and the shirt of the rainbow. Beautiful scenery!! The clouds are also good.
Wonderful scenic landscape, nice effect with the lens flare.

It's a force field protecting the local haggis.

Your camera thought it would add its own effect to your shot. Some cameras do have a mind of their own. Great shot with or with out the camera's help=o])

I agree that it's lens flair. I like it so much I often look for it in the bottom of beer bottles! This is a BEAUTIFUL shot, however. Beer or not...

wow!clearer days! this is a fantastic and meaningful shot!my delighted and inspired vote!
Really beautiful places that you are surrounded by. Great mountains these three sisters. ;)
First of all; this is a picture that should be matted and framed; and, placed on the wall in a gallery ...very beautiful capture! My theory on the rainbow is: let's assume that there was a heavy morning dew; or, some rain some hours earlier that was clinging to all of the foliage and ground cover. Along comes a blast of wind and lifts the moisture into the air while the sun is focused on your POV - voila! You have a rainbow!
