I like this shot.. the only thing I think that would improve it further more, would be to straighten the horizon.. It tilts a bit to the left.. Will look at Giancarlos version of it tomorrow..

Very little has really changed in those 23 years. The paint on the house is different and the plants have grown tall. The structure bridging the house to a utility and storage barn is gone and there is now a tree in the back yard. But really, little has changed as life continues as it did years before.
Looks like a wonderful spot to spend some time. A wonderful reflection of the house in the water.

Like the idea of showing the same spot 23 years apart. A bit more overgrown now, and the building has had to withstand 23 years of sun/wind/rain etc. but still - it's pretty much the same. Excellent work!
I love being able to see the two images ..... and I love how you went back to these places and photographed from the same place.... A lot has changed yet still the same.
What a gorgeous composed capture and a pure idyl! Outstanding reflection on the water! a dream of a capture! would like to be there!
