It would be cool to see some haze out towards the buildings to add to the sense of distance. Right now, those buildings look as if they were constructed to house the ducks in the foreground.

Either adjust atmosphere/haze&fog, or move the bldgs/terrain back towards horizon, for a distance feel, LOVE the color scheme-foreground is superb! My reaction on first glance was: Sol has becoome a dwarf star & the seas are slowly innudating the lands-leaving waterfowl & insects as the inhabitants. Maybe they'd do a better job than homo sapiens ded. ;-)

The coloring on this is superb. I agree with the above suggestions to adjust the atmosphere to give a feeling of distance to the buidlings.

I've been a fan of this work since the very first preview, and it's easy to find "defects" when something is just so good. You achieved Anita a very difficult mood to accomplish, in this case, a barely concealed ominous atmosphere combined with serenity. It gives this sensation of a dying arrogant and decadent civilization with nature gradually taking over. The gorgeous sunset is like a symbol of what's on the leave and a renewed hope next day for a world that will find its natural balance once more, for humans are no more than a passing event in time. There are lots of stories that can be imagined, taking your image as a starting point, and that is one of the strong points of a graphically stunning composition!!!. BIG V

Real and Now is what I say. Orig. from NYC and a person who has done a bit of travling I choose to believe that this is our world today. It is still alive yet not at peace the way it is in your scene. Hope is the word that comes to mind as I view this lovely work of art. Your choice of hue's along with the open space, waterfowl & folige give this one a very Asian feel. Truely an excellent work of art.
