Description
Sometimes the simple images are the most effective. This photo was entered in May's Reflection/Refraction challenge.
I photographed it in the late afternoon on the roof of my car using RAW mode. The black paint was turned blue during the raw conversion. I cleaned up the watermarks during postwork, but otherwise, not much enhancement was done in Photoshop.
I saw this leaf on the sidewalk when leaving work but doubled back and picked it up before going home. I'm glad I did.

Superb artwork! I like so much this reflection and colors! :) V
I think it's really special.I love the blue bumping against the leaf color.Very visually exciting. So simple and yet sooooo striking. It certainly didn't look like a leaf on a car but now that you mention it...EXCELLENT!!!
the reflection and the photogarphy are very good. have a good day
Oh my God Kort...doesnt get much more elegant than that!!! What an incredible find and capture, simply outstanding composition!!! Its a keeper ladies and gentlemen...A KEEPER I TELL YOU!!!!! Have a great monday #:O)
Superb! Excellent shot!*****!
Excellent detail and sharpness is what makes this very good. The blue contrasts the leaf nicely. I wonder if a more brightly colored leaf would have been overkill. Maybe an experiment for later? KP
Beautiful Image, Excellent Job my friend. Aloha

Absolutely fantastic! As beautiful as it is simple. VOTE
You listened to your inner voice and that is what happens, you create something beautiful from a thought of simplicity because that voice was that of the Muse guiding you.
Simple yet undeniably very beautiful. Fantastic shot!
I thought it was sitting on still water at first, very cool and serene.
