Description
This is a new addition to the waterfront. New to us anyhow. The ironic thing is there used to be a ferryboat parked here which was quite the watering hole. Not sure what happened to it. I believe it sank on its way to a new location. Then that could have been just me and my USNR buds. Never knew where we'd end up at times.
This is a restaurant. Plans are to move it to Fells Point, but there seems to be some 'problem' with the local authorities.

Sounds?> a decent-enough place. The name evokes the state flower: Black-eyed Susan.
Time to move on a bit. I'm getting 'the look' from the direction of the car.
Enjoy; thanks for viewing.
You know, looking at all these places that are food establishments I have to wonder if the state song is acutally: Gobble! Gobble! Urp-a Urp! Hic!
Well, can't beat 'em....

The Paddle Steamer is like something out of "Maverick"...now, off with You...the Mrs is waiting :]
Love your sternwheeler too! Good to have a story behind it. The sternwheelers at Lake Tahoe are named the Tahoe Queen, and the M.S. Dixie II. They both vie for the "largest" sternwheeler title at Lake Tahoe, though. I believe the Tahoe Queen is still the largest at present.
lol. Tedz! you tell 'em! we females can be an impatient lot! ;)... love the shot, so how was the food?
wow! what a fantastic and beautiful steam boat! the only one I saw in reality was in St Luis! ;o)
