Description

Back in college; the coolest English proffesor I ever had, was the one who said, "In my view, its perfectly alright to make up words, AS LONG AS the reader understands its context". That's by way of saying, "Ullusions" is NOT a typo. LOL, As well as applying the underlying principle to pictural work. Been working on some 'tribute wallies', both on certain artists whose works certainly influenced my take on 'perceptual creativity', as well as some area/concepts other 3D artists have done in the past. In that category, there's diff schools of thought, ranging from, "K.I.S.S." to "Exquisite lies in the detailing-more is better" Anyways, I just go where the Creativity Muse's tuggings take me. Hope you'll enjoy the exploration. G'Day, thanks for visiting.

I like this, the feeling is of a scene from one of my computer games...a secret lies ahead, but where? How many more rooms and pillars? A feeling of being lost. Kind of gives me the shivers :)

The eyes see what they percieve they should be seeing :) In actuality they see a whole structure when it is not whole. It is funny what the mind fills in for us ! Something a person needs to look long at and see past the minds eye :D Excellent post !!~****~!!

Schools of thought perhaps should not be taken in a dogmatic way. As humans, we know we are versatile and what goes OK with us one day, may not work next one. We create the way we feel and bouncing from one school to the other is variety, fun and a guarantee of not becoming tired of repeating a concept over and over again. Took this image rather lightly at first and enjoying the minimalistic approach. After a further glance, lost trace of where I was or what I was looking at. Everything that at one moment seemed in its place and in order vanished, while trying to regain sense to no avail. Very nice and interesting work my friend, that deserves further viewings to get the answers...or more questions!
