I really enjoy my birthdays ... it's so wonderful to celebrate this wonderful gift I was given called life, every year, on the exact same day. I've won and lost, chosen the right paths and some wrong ones, and loved dearly and lost severely, but, through all of it, truly, I'm so much better today than I was yesterday - I am, indeed, a culmination of everything that has happened to me up to this very moment in time, and am totally humbled by it. As I look back over the past 48 years, I resent nothing and no one, appreciate all that has happened (good and bad), and consider myself an extraordinarily wealthy man with so many wonderful memories of people who's lives I've been honored to be able to touch, and be touched by, even if only for brief periods of time. Tomorrow, May 18, 2005, I will celebrate my 48th year of life, and I simply can't wait to see what lies ahead for me then, and beyond.
