Description
Winner of April/May Terrain Challenge :)
The mountains appear with their eyes closed and their faces raised to the warm glow of the sun. In this bigger version you can see the choppiness of the surfacing on the left doesn't look so great but I love how this surfacing makes the middle mountains and background look. Also, now you can better see the deformed strata of those mountains caused by the uplifting that formed them. Thanks to Dotthy for a great terrain, it gave me a great POV, and thanks to voters.

Surfaces are very interesting, and I like the pov.
That's such an incredibly beautiful scene, makes me want to pull out a lounge chair and just watch the sun go down.
Nicely done, great surfacing ane lighting.
Beautiful natural render
Lovely light and atmo. I like the surfaces, as you say, in the more distant parts of the image. Very cool stuff.
Congrats!..well deserved!
Yes, congrats to this deserved win! Most beautiful atmo!
Superb realistic render, while strata seem to be a little bit too regular. The terrain is fantastic, and the atmo fits one hundred per cent well!
beautiful realism there!!! terrain is beautiful, your surfaces perfect, love the sunset atmosphere!
Excellent work ! I totally agree with Fly : excellent atmo ! The surface is very well-done and realistic too ! Nice job !
