j'en ai marre ,c'est toujours l'anniversaire des autres !!! super macro, and a GREAT DEPTh of field!
What I LOVE in this macro is that it has a most natural 'view', i.e., it looks as if I was actually looking at the snail instead of seeing it photographed. BRAVO !!!

Great image pascale! Wonderful tribute! Reminds me of something??.....;) XOXO
A wise choice, as I came to associate Ilona with snails after seeing an incredible macro of one from her. That's some cam you have there! And a happy belated birthday to Ilona ;-)
Goodness, never been eye-to-eye to with a snail. Heck of a macro... and clearly Ilona agrees.
hehe, perfect for Ilona!! HB!!!!!!!! :]
Ohhhh...isn't he cute!!! A fantastic macro Pascale, and a great gift for Ilona. So alive and so clear, I want to gently touch him with just a finger, not to scare him into his shell.

Great macroshot of 'Weinbergschnecke' (badly & directly translated: vine-hill-snail, lol), excellent use of DOF !
WOW what a great macro!! I love the textures on the snail
Great macro work, I don't know much about snails, is this one good to eat? At this close range it's a good thing that they don't move very fast!
