Description

The Troll clan faithful are nearing the end of their long journey. They have arrived at the Etaii gateway, the portal into the tunnel maze that Isa entered the day before. Deep below ground, in that maze, is the hole that drains the Earth; the hole that shall be closed. Ark, the herbalist's firstborn offspring, has been trained to read the signs. Before entering the tunnels, he stops to see if the Earth energies will permit safe passage and completion of their task. ************ I'd like to thank everyone here at Renderosity for your interest and generosity on my previous images. Truly touched me, Thank You. Credits: Purchased at DAZ - trolls, troll items and weapons, Ollock's wall and throne, LisaB's gnarly tree. This opened & my reaction was "WHOOOAH"! Terrific! IF ReRo had a 5 star rating system-I'd give ya '10' ;-D Seriously, my CA writer frtiend says you should do this whole thing for an 'older' children's book! Kreep going-this is awesome stuff! BIGV

This does look great, the fire looks a bit strange? Extremely well done, excellent poses and no polygon artifacts that I can see. Excellent!

Thank you for the comments, much appreciated :) I wasn't sure what cornelp meant about a broken light, thought maybe my lighting directions were wrong but then shinyary2 said the fire looks a bit weird so that must be it. Here's why it looks a bit different (this is my story and I'm sticking to it :))...the fire torch was made by me in Cinema and is my version of a Trollian "pipeeste". A pipeeste works by capillary action where a fine stream of "lumonox" is drawn up and out through a fine tip on it's end, as the flame burns. Little droplets of lumonox spray off to the sides, unburnt, and drain down the sides of the pipeeste. It's quite messy, but long burning and tossed when spent. Hope that dispells some of the mystery surrounding the fire :D

Awesome trolls! I'd like to see some of the solid-colored textures (bones, shield-spikes) dirtier, and the fire seems a bit off, but it's a great scene!
