Description
Another test render of this Wings3D created model in Bryce 4.1. I'm not sure why Bryce is rendering hard shadows on some of the rounded surfaces. (They don't show that way in the OpenGL view in Wings.)
Anyhow, this render shows the landing gear a bit better. Also I reworked the geometry of the gear so they now line up more properly in the down position.
This model will probably be my next freebie.

Cool!!
You've done a lot. The hard shadows repeats something I noticed in flat surface renders in Carrara where the flat surface is divided by lines. At first I thought the renderer had inverted the normals like Poser does to give black areas where the piece is seen from the inside back surface instead. After working a long time to see if these layman grade products have precision issues I have questions about the output of the hidden line algorithm as well as the orthogonlity of the model overall which you will examine when you let down those gear (which fit the wells so perfectly) all the way and then wonder why its sits too low in the perspective shot.???? Actually with the eye and memory everyone is an expert. Slowly the trust is freed and the confidence builds.
Man this is a super model you have made here. Very good details and smooth the right places. Excellent done!
I've had strange results with Wings and Bryce..so who knows. Only thing I might note is that I think the wings aren't wide enough..a minor fix..keep 'em flying..
I have had those probelms myself too. Nice geometry there overall.
