Mother Superior at the School I went to...said I would Swing...and I was only 7 Years Old...and She was very Graphic about it ...this brings back bad memories...but, I will get over it. A fine Image.

wonderful, with a story in there....

A very urban image. The swing seems to have just moved!
Wonderful Suspended feeling! I think they need a wider one for us don't you? lol.
So inviting, but it looks to small for my rear end :-) Perfect shot though!
SADO MASO PLEASURE!to keep his ass hot!!
Well, I love the image so much I pulled it up in Photoshop. There is a difference between regular B&W photography and that of 'Fine Art' B&W photography. This images fall it the catagory of 'Fine Art'. Having said this, there are other guidle lines, and they are guidelines interpreted with artistic and personel feelings. I see that you exposed for the swing seat, in order to maintain the details. Yet I feel you sacrificed the details in the grass and the beautiful shadow. By making adjustment in curves you can ballance but will lose a bit of the seat and gain on the shadow and grass. The settings I have for cruves in Photoshop are lower curve at 100/60 and the upper curve at 205/205. Try it and let me know what you think. This pictures not only has charm but isd work exploring further. Have a great Sunday.
your swing....rocks;)
The textures in the photo are excellent.
the shadows and the choice of teh tones are very good. it's an excellent photography. have a good day
OK, East Coast or West? LOL. Great shot Pascale. They don't make em like they used to, do they.
What a lovely reminder of childhood! Was always a pleasure to me! :o) Let's swing! Great compo and tones, Pascale!
The emptiness of the swing and the complexity of the links really work well together. I was wondering about the grass myself, it almost looks like infrared film or a frost covered field. Excellent work, the composition is outstanding.
Wonderful subject in this photo.I like the soft shadows on the cement squares. This pic speaks to the child in me.
So Very Lonely Great Shot!
Excellent subject matter. Love the chain on the swing. Tks Pascale for this great shot :^)
Wonderful detail, the textures are great and the tone is excellent.
Hihi... let's rock! MegaHugs my dear...
Very detailed B/W shot and nice idea.
You have a knack of giving mundane subjects a feeling of timeless class. Keep it up :-)
