Description

ferrets in their natural habitat. This is not the detour I'd planned. However, some things are just meant to be, blah blah blah. What really happened is I heard a noise from the nightstand (a usual hangout for these cretins) and looked in to find a sea of fur and a little nose poking up like a snorkel from some deep-diving fuzzy. Recognizing a 'precious moment' when I see one, I closed the drawer ever so quietly to grab the camera. In less than 30 seconds I was back to find the scene had changed.... Argggghhh! So I shot the little stinkers. Top image: Niles (AKA Goober 1, Gooby Goo, and Goober "J") is shading his eyes. He was the snorkler. Above him is Rufus (Top Dog of the herd), and at the bottom is Lilith (AKA Goober 2, Lilly, Twinkle Toes, Gooberness, and Goobernitsa [so far]). Bottom image is the same, but Niles is more awake and we get a better look at El Magnifico (Rufus). Lilith-putt has decided this is not as interesting as sleep. Just sharing a 'Ferret Moment' with y'all. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

sweet images! my sister used to have a few - chestnut and walnut.. they WERE NUTTY loll one night i was sleeping and one crawled right up my pajamma leg and i WOKE UP SCREAMING!!! LOL!! such cuties!

Dear TW, I love these little guys and gals! Maybe I should get a ferret! I've thought about it more than once. I just read Kimarie's comment about one up her leg. I'll have to send her the reference to my "ferret dance" problem. They are so cute - which I could cuddly up the whole batch!!! Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith
