Description
On a field trip with Jimbo we came across what I believe to be a rare find in the wild in the UK of about a dozen Pearl Guinea Fowl I can only assume these must have escaped at some time from a captive breeding programe for sport shooting.. As the name suggests these are an African species..
This place is noted for its population of Red Kites which was our intended subject but were rewarded with these and two other game birds on the days shoot..
My apologies for my lack of time in the galleries commenting due to my wifes ill health but will get back to everyone soon

Wonderful photo. A different type of Guinea Fowl is found where we live and they are very vocal and noisy.
