I had some fun doing that mask/painture thing...
the photo has no postwork and it is obtained by scanning the negative -

@dtp - Well, I agree with you; I rarely use 400! @Michelle - well, dear, a little grain 'cause I didn't use any flash and I used a lamp of 30W and 1/15 time of exposure! @Akinom - nope, no postwork! :) Mihai

This is TERRIFIC! I think that the texture is beautifully highlighted with light. The 2/3 face display is perfect, and the subject is fascinatingly distinctive.
