Description

All Bryce and preset materials. Blurring (until my eyes bled) in PSP7 to add depth and accent subject. Daz3d V2 base and stock pose. I hope bare back model not offensive because inserting a robot in the falls didn't seem to work. It kept shorting out it's circuits.) Comments?

A nicely done pastoral image. Why anyone would be offended by a woman bathibng in a waterfall is beyond me. Couple of thoughts-- (1) It looks like there is someone behind the falls on the right side. See the area that looks liie a shoulder and arm? (2) The water seems more like a hanging sheet. You might want to add a little mist or spray. Also, the water should probably be a little choppier. But overall very pleasant!

I agree about the water looking sheet-like, but the water hitting the rock looks very nice. I like the rock ledge, too.

Good depth. Nice job on the overhang. The water needs some blurring at the top perhaps. Decent composition. Nice image.

Hmm... I think your blurring backfired on you a bit; it makes things look flat to me. I think your splashing effects are great but I agree with David in that you need mist. Trouble with the blurring is that it makes the background overhang and such look so much farther behind the waterfall, and then when you look at the waterfall itself you see the rock it is splashing on looks like it's part of the overhang, and therefore farther back. Then you see the water splashing on it, and it looks awkard. At least that's my impression. I do love the waterfall itself, though, it looks very nice along with the placement of the foliage which is very realistic. Well done overall!

I agree with the comments on the water, could use some fine mist. But I disagree with the comments about the DOF (Depth of field)I think it looks great, more like human vision. I don't know about those other guy's, but if I stumbled into this scene, my eyes would not be focused on the fern I'm touching or the trees 100 yards out. If you get my drift! The composition is wonderful! Very cinematic, the perspective of a director of photography! Excellent!!
